This delightful spot is a haven for coffee enthusiasts and food lovers alike, offering an impressive menu that caters to both classic tastes and adventurous palettes.
The café’s coffee selection is truly exceptional, featuring everything from bold espressos and rich Americanos with velvety crema to innovative specialties like the nutty Pistachio Latte and the seasonal Winter Drink Spicy Apple. Each cup is crafted with care by skilled baristas, with Terence, the proud manager, often praised for his artistic touch—customers marvel at his beautifully rendered tulip latte art and perfectly balanced mochas. For those who enjoy their coffee with a twist, the Americano paired with a delicate vanilla macaroon is a sensory delight, marrying robust flavours with subtle sweetness.
Complementing the drinks, Lefteris excels in a range of fresh, flavorful food options. Their sourdough bread—available Friday through Sunday—is a standout, ideal for the smashed avocado on toast or the luxurious salmon sandwich. The all-day brunch menu invites comfort with choices such as fluffy scrambled eggs on sourdough toast and toasted cinnamon & raisin bagels. Sandwich lovers will relish options like the hearty BLT, classic ham & cheese croissants, and inventive combos like tuna, cheese & salad or chicken and bacon. Every bite here is a balance of textures and tastes, from creamy cheese melts to crisp fresh greens.
For those with a sweet tooth, Lefteris offers a sublime selection of cakes and pastries. The coffee cake and chocolate muffin are luscious companions to your morning brew, while desserts like the Oreo cheesecake slice, luxury chocolate cake, and carrot cake receive high praise—one regular calls the carrot cake "one of the best I have ever tried." Seasonal treats and specialties such as the biscoff cheesecake have earned devoted fans, though availability can fluctuate, as one visitor recently noted missing their beloved cheesecake on a return visit.
The ambience is warm and welcoming, enhanced by attentive staff members who are known for their friendliness and genuine care. One of the reason I visit Bradford for the second time - after fell madly in love last year with the biscoff cheesecake during my first visit to the city. The location is perfect and inviting, also close to the railway station. Can't remember much about the chai I had last year but the cake is as perfect as it could be. During my second visit I was disappointed to find no cheesecake at all on display, so I chose biscoff cream cake instead as it looks as inviting as the cheesecake. And oh my word I don't know how they made it so perfectly. It is perfectly spongy, light, not too sweet, and didn't feel like a sugar sin. Stayed here for an hour before our train back home - the staffs are friendly and the seats are comfy, will def come back next time to discover more perfect cakes. And no, I am usually not a fan of a cake.
Visited Lefteris Coffee & Tearoom for the first time and was curious to try a white chocolate mocha. Terence, the barista who made it, created a beautiful tulip design which was probably the most unique I’ve seen so far, and the mocha tasted amazing. He was polite and even checked from a distance if I liked it. While the café was clean and inviting with a great atmosphere, however not all staff were as welcoming. I’d definitely recommend this place and will be coming back to try more drinks!
Absolutely lovely coffee shop with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. One of the highlights of Bradford. They also have delicious sourdough bread Friday to Sunday. Shout out to Elizabeth , Maria and Terrence. Terrence is a proud manager. Rightly proud!!
I love this place, especially in the winter. Great to come for a nice brunch with friends. My usual order is the cheese and onion toastie and the dark hot chocolate. Tastes amazing every time I order this. My favourite dessert from lefteris is the carrot cake, one of the best carrot cakes I have ever tried. The owner is so friendly and the staff are nice too. A bit expensive but a nice treat every once in a while. Great atmosphere and environment for studying or catching up with friends.
Excellent Mocha Great coffee and tea and a large selection of cakes and pastries warm Pastel de Natta took it to a different level. Be aware the coffee is very hot as it should be
Lovely place to visit for food and a drink. The sandwiches are really tasty and a generous size. Well worth a visit if in Bradford.
Cosy and warmly decorated cafe. Not cold/modern/canteen style like the rest in the area. Great cakes, coffee and brunch selection. Very tasty and large portion of smashed avocado on toast, all though I got looked at like I was speaking alien and treated like I was a huge inconvenience for asking for a fried egg be added to the order … the staff were either new, hungover (let’s be honest we’ve all been there), or a bit put out by our presence … not sure which. Either way, it’s still the cosiest cafe in town and the cakes are guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
The most beautiful stunning cafe I've ever been too. Wow what a gorgeous setting. Was very disappointed to see costco cakes being sold here though for extortionate prices. Overall its my new go to place I'm in love.
